On Eve of Passover, Hindu Americans Mourn Those Lost to Anti-Semitic Attack

Washington, D.C. (April 14, 2014) - Leaders of the Hindu American Foundation (HAF) deplored the recent attack on the Jewish Community Center of Kansas City and a nearby Jewish retirement home. Frazier Glenn Cross, a former leader of the white supremacist group, the Ku Klux Klan, opened fire at the two facilities, killing three and critically injuring a fifteen year old boy. After being detained by police, Cross was heard screaming anti-Semitic remarks to onlookers and media.

“This is a heartbreaking tragedy, and our thoughts and prayers are with the Jewish community of Kansas City,” said SriVani Ganti, Director of Member and Chapter Relations. “Preventing such future attacks at places of worship should be the priority for law-enforcement agencies nationally.”
